Floris Niu is an organic cacao grower, processor, and chocolate producer based in Samoa. After a series of life-threatening illnesses, Floris left her corporate life in New Zealand for her native Samoa to farm her ancestors’ land. Despite facing patriarchal systems and resistance from local farmers, she’s determined to continue farming using the same traditional, organic methods as her ancestors.
